Mina is a V:TR vampire. As such, she has some powers. Some of them might do things to you. Take a look at her abilities below and post to let me know what is and isn't okay to do to your character. And remember, saying "Talk to me first" is a perfectly reasonable thing! I'm super nice and a squishy person.
Vampire Powers
Command: Mina can issue a one-word command that must be obeyed, provided she can make eye contact with her victim and provided that the victim can follow this command with reasonable self-preservation. Should the command be something akin to "sleep" then the victim will immediately wake upon any kind of attack.
Mesmerize: Mina can implant a suggestion or false thought. She can give the victim a specific order to follow which lasts until the task is completed or until the end of the month.
The Forgetful Mind: Mina can doctor a subject's memories. She pacifies the subject and can search for memories in the subconscious. As the subject recites the memory aloud, she can alter it, erase it, or implant new memories verbally.
Rigor Mortis: A Cruac ritual, this ability allows Mina to freeze the muscles of an enemy for a short period of time, making it difficult for them to move. It is much more effective on supernatural creatures than regular mortals.
Path of Thorns: Yet another Cruac ritual, this spell allows Mina to transform the ground around her into a lethal jumble of briar.
Hawthorn Barrier: A ritual similar to Path of Thorns, this bit of Cruac allows her to create a wall of hawthorn that is difficult to penetrate.
Feeding
Well, naturally, a vampire needs to drink blood. Mina is not the sort of person who drains a human dry. That's an enormous waste. In general, she takes about three pints per feeding. And here's the bonus: Being bitten by a V:TR vampire totally feels like a sexual experience. That's right. You'll enjoy being bitten.
Anyway, normally, Mina will just dominate someone to forget that she bit them, but if anyone's willing to donate blood, she's on board with that. Tell me how you feel about that!

Sam - KORE Specific
Date: 2012-11-29 04:59 pm (UTC)Command: Since Sam is from season 5 and still canonically has access to his powers, I'm going to sway to "No, but talk to me" on this one. He's shown that he is immune to anything mental control (see: Andy and his brother - season 2), but we can always talk about different worlds having different effects.
Mesmerize: Same as above
Forgetful Mind: Talk to me because a. above and b. plot reasons from the kidnapping.
Rigor Mortis: Talk to me first; if this is a power that comes from mental paralysis, then probably no just because of above. If it's a physical or magical ability, then there is more leeway.
Path of Thorns / Hawthorn Barrier: Don't see why not? She's affecting the surroundings, not my character.
Feeding: You'd have to convince him and earn his trust. Seeing that he's currently withdrawing from being a blood drinker himself, he will probably not be all that willing unless it's life or death and she's earned his trust enough.

Date: 2012-11-30 01:36 pm (UTC)Rigor Mortis This I will tentative-yes too, more because it's super boring to just be like 'nope nope nope' to everything than because I have any canon basis whatsoever. Goddamn all-powerful angels.
Path of Thorns/Hawthorn Barrier Now I am imagining amazing fight scenes between Anna and Mina involving briars and teleporting and all sorts of foolishness. I'm not sure what this is a yes too but yes feel free to attack her with briars if the need arises I guess?
Feeding I can't imagine her consenting without exceptional circumstances, but from an OOC POV if it comes up I am more than fine with it.
Anyway, basically this is a whole lot of I'M NOT SURE IF IT'D WORK but from my perspective these are all fine, it's just how it fits in with her own abilities. I'm thinking there'd be a whole tapered down effect anyway, not to mention the longer she's away from her own world of residence (I'D ASSUME) the weaker she's going to get, a la 2014!Castiel. So this is a really complicated way of saying I personally say yes that's fine to all of these but Anna's canon is less agreeable.

Date: 2012-12-07 05:10 pm (UTC)Command: Going to go with N on this one. The Hulk's resistant to mind control because his mind is so full of Stuff (like Bruce) that it's difficult to control; I'm going to assume this extends to Bruce as well. It might work for a little while, but it won't last.
Mesmerize: Like above, this might work for a little bit until it doesn't anymore.
The Forgetful Mind: This could be fun. Eventually I want to screw around with Bruce/the Hulk and have them remember that Bruce killed his father. In the comics, the Hulk is far more susceptible than this than Bruce (I GUESS!?!?) and the Hulk's haunted by Bruce's dad a lot. Bruce suppresses the memory entirely, but as the Hulk is basically a physical manifestation of all of Bruce's suppressed emotions...
I'm not even thinking about breaking his world with this yet, but when I do, this could be handy.
Rigor Mortis: Maybe an even shorter period of time than usual, but sure!
Path of Thorns: y the Hulk finds magic infuriating and weird and will SMASH IT
Hawthorn Barrier: DUMB PLANTS MUST SMASH
Feeding
Up to you what Bruce's blood can do. It mutates humans, turning their skin a weird color and making them (or whatever area of the body it gets into, like if it drips into someone's cut [which happened in The Incredible Hulk idk]) grow bigger. It enhances strength usually and can make emotions wilder/more difficult to control. There's some precedent for spin-offs of Bruce having more control than the poor BB does.
Maybe she'll turn green briefly? Be angrier? Stronger? IDEK

Date: 2013-02-19 01:44 pm (UTC)Path of Thorns & Hawthorn Barrier: Sure!
Feeding: If they get to be friends then I think if asked he'd just be like.../shrug. Because why not, it's not like it is going to kill him.
But uh, after he finds out what it feels like it would never happen again. XD His loyalties are. Weird.

I mean at least *I* think he would. Since in essence he's a very well controlled human magnet. So yeah I do conjecture that, that his blood, sweat, etc should be a little more metallicky than the average person.

Date: 2013-02-27 08:58 pm (UTC)Command, Mesmerize, Forgetful Mind, Rigor Mortis: Because of her years of training with telepaths, I'm going to say NO with a caveat: Jubilee can be caught off guard. If she is, it might be possible for something minor to happen (Mina make her able to pause for a second, hold Jubes' attention, etc). We'll have to work it out according to circumstances.
Path of Thorns/Hawthorn Barrier: Sure, just be aware that if used on her offensively, she'll set them on fire.
Feeding: Not without some major talk ahead of time. She lives with Logan and he'd smell it on her, so... it'd be good for conflict, but I'd have to ask Lain about it too. :)
Brigid:
Everything except feeding is cool. However she is a werewolf, and I do not remember my V:TR stuff, so we'll have to work out everything. :D

Date: 2013-02-28 07:54 am (UTC)Mesmerize: Again, it might run into old mental condition going on up there.
The Forgetful Mind: Everything The Academy has done to River, again, might make this a little more complicated than Mina might be used to from a human, though I'm free to work this all out.
Also: TELEPATH. Not as strong (or well-controlled) as Charles but also can't turn it off so there is that to contend with.
Path of Thorns/Hawthorn Barrier: Go for it.
Feeding: River wouldn't volunteer and would probably be really angry if she found out that something was taken from her without permission.

Date: 2013-04-27 07:57 pm (UTC)The Forgetful Mind, Mesmerize, and Command: Could work with some plotting, which I am definitely open to. I think, given the way Trance perceives reality it would be a little more complex for The Forgetful Mind, as Trance experiences a lot of alternate possibilities that would probably make it easier for Mina to make Trance believe a planted or altered memory was real, but at the same time harder to find the memory she might be looking for, if that makes sense?
